Whilst travelling in India I came across Aura, an oasis of green in the midst of the hot, dusty, polluted city of Ahmedabad. This is where we produce our herbal dyed table covers. Inspired by the Asian practice of using a piece of cloth as packaging, we added a small ribbon as a practical, stylish and personal gesture.
The cloth from which we make our table covers is tied and dyed by hand in a bath of natural indigo. As this technique only allows the production of one piece at the time, each cover is different: from minimal blotches to a cloudy heaven, from subtle baby blue
